Need New Music!

All the crappy music iTunes is recommending me is making my ears sad!
I like Interpol and the distorted guitary noise layerings of Beck’s Modern Guilt and Kings of Leon’s Because of the Times. All my recommendations are upbeat UK indie boy bands.
Can anyone recommend anything? I like dark and angsty alternative rock music.

Maybe try VAST? I especially like their album “Visual Audio Sensory Theater” (haven’t had the chance to listen to a couple of the newer ones, actually). Try “Touched,” “Here,” and “Temptation.” Their stuff varies a lot, though.

Do you like dark and antsy ambient experimental synthpop? Try Chromatics, they are my 2nd most played non-Interpol related artist. They are beautiful and eerie.
